Pittsford is a prosperous, residential, suburban community located seven miles south-east of Rochester, New York. Pittsford is known for its historic village, fine suburban neighborhoods, and excellent schools.

First settled in 1789, the Village of Pittsford contains tree-shaded streets lined with historic homes and a diverse array of specialty retail shops, services, and restaurants. A stone's throw from Main Street, renovated historic mills and warehouses, and a bustling waterfront promenade overlook the Erie Canal.
