JOB SUMMARY
The Early Childhood Coordinator/Daycare Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing educational programs for young children. This position emphasizes curriculum development, staff training, and maintaining high program quality, ensuring that children engage in developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

WHATYOU’LL DO
- Develop and implement early childhood education programs and curriculum.
- Ensure programs align with educational standards and developmental goals.
- Supervise and support teachers and childcare staff.
- Conduct classroom observations and program evaluations.
- Organize staff development and training sessions.
- Monitor child development and assessment outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, community organizations, and school administrators.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements.
- Assist with enrollment, program planning, and budgeting.
- Promote inclusive and developmentally appropriate learning environments.
- Manage all aspects of building maintenance, safety, repairs and security.
- Supervise the ordering and inventory of program supplies.
- Prepare and lead staff and curriculum meetings.
- Attend committee meetings and agency events which may occur on weekends and/or evenings.
- Assist in planning Center and School wide events.
- Attend program staff meetings, in-service training and on/offsite professional development workshops as determined by Early Childhood Director.
- Keep Director informed of all extraordinary incidents relating to accidents, concerns about child’s welfare or circumstances.
- Appropriately represent the center in all forums.
- Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
- Certification in Early Childhood / Birth – 2nd.
- Experience in early childhood teaching and program coordination.
- Knowledge of curriculum planning and child assessment methods.
- Organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with state childcare licensing standards.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
$80,000-$90,000
