Preschool Teacher Assistant
Pay: $22.66/hour

Getzville, NY

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, 35 hrs./week

Your Impact as a Preschool Teacher Assistant
  • Assist in instruction and fulfillment of IEP mandates
  • Implement established behavior plan(s)
  • Ability to assume teacher responsibilities
  • Assist teacher to implement and monitor individual lesson plans, data collection and charting systems
  • Assist in conducting classroom activities that enhance opportunity to develop skills in areas of need
  • Assist with routine classroom functions
  • Assist with home-school communication
  • Assist with all required paperwork to be completed
  • Ability to travel to satellite locations upon request

  • Maintain strict confidentiality
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience working in a classroom/educational setting
  • One year of experience working with children
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

New York State Teaching Assistant Certificate or New York State Teaching Certificate (if you do not currently possess the certificate, you must obtain it within six months of hire).
