Part-Time Math Tutor

Location: Yorktown Heights

About the Job

We are currently looking for Math instructors for Middle igh school level students. We help students in all subject areas.

Math:
Pre Alg, Alg, Geometry, Alg 2 rig, Pre Calc, Calc. Tutors can teach some or all of these subjects!

We also offer Science subjects including:
Earth Science, Bio, Chemistry, and Physics.

The Huntington Teacher Opportunity:

• Work with students in a 1-to-1 setting.
• There are no lesson plans to write or homework assignments to grade!
• Flexible, part-time hours - afternoon, evening, weekend and summer.
• Competitive hourly rate and paid training.

Compensation: $18-22/hour (commensurate with experience).

Center Hours (school year):

• Monday-Thursday: 2-8:30pm
• Friday: 2-8pm
• Saturday-Sunday: 9am-5pm

Center Hours (Summer):

• Monday-Thursday: 9am-8pm
• Friday-Saturday: 9am-1pm
• Sunday: 9am-3pm
• Minimum hours/week - 10
• Maximum hours/week - 30

* Please note that we do not hire seasonally, as this is a year-round role.

Huntington Teacher Requirements include:

• 4-year degree required in a related field
• Must be able to easily commute to our location in Yorktown Heights, NY
• All experience levels are welcome to apply - recent grads, current teachers, and retired professionals
