Associate Director for Collaborative Strategies and Operations
Associate Director for Collaborative Strategies and Operations reporting to the Director for Recruitment and Program Support. Responsible for the engagement programs, support services, and operations for over 6,000 ASAP students.
Responsibilities- Supervise Academic Support Services, Career Development, Engagement, Financial Aid, and Operations.
- Supervise recruitment, onboarding, training, timesheet processing, and semester schedules for part‑time staff (coaches, tutors, mentors). Liaison to Human Resources.
- Create structures to track student participation and evaluate program impact.
- Supervise development and implementation of academic and engagement interventions to support retention of at‑risk students.
- Guide the implementation of academic, professional, and personal engagement initiatives to promote student success.
- Collaborate with Advisement and Recruitment teams to support ASAP goals and priorities.
- Cultivate professional relationships with college partners to advance engagement strategies.
- Supervise and coordinate communication campaigns for students.
- Responsible for front desk operations and staff.
- Supervise distribution and accounting of OMNY cards.
- Responsible for tracking and distribution of programming materials and office supplies.
- All other duties assigned by the Director.
- Minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree and six years of relevant experience, including two years of supervision. - Preferred:
Master’s degree. - Experience with program development and implementation.
- Demonstrated experience with staff supervision and training.
- Ability to cultivate inclusive and equitable working relationships with students, staff, and faculty.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency managing multiple tasks and achieving strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Access and Excel), with aptitude to learn new systems.
- Weekly late nights as needed.
Salary range: $102,408 – $113,982. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
