We are seeking an energetic and experienced Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor
, you will assist students individually and in small groups, helping them understand educational concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for tests. Your goal is to help students reach their full potential. Candidates must hold an active New York State license to teach in the city/state of New York. A special education background is a plus or experience working with students who have intellectual and/or learning disabilities.

• Help students understand new concepts
• Assist students in preparing for tests and completing assignments
• Teach problem‑solving skills
• Prepare lessons
• Help every student achieve the best education possible

• Previous experience as a Tutor is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required (4‑year degree);
  Master’s degree if needed for license
• Patient, understanding, and reliable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check
