Summer School Bus Monitor Summer 2026

The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking applicants for Summer School Bus Monitor positions.

Bus Monitors assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment while transporting students to and from summer school programs. Responsibilities include supervising students during transportation, assisting students as needed, and promoting safe behavior on the bus.

• Monitor student behavior and ensure safe transportation practices
• Assist students during loading and unloading
• Support the bus driver in maintaining a safe and orderly bus environment
• Communicate concerns regarding student safety or behavior to appropriate personnel
• Follow district policies and procedures regarding student transportation

• High school diploma or possession of a high school equivalency diploma
• Ability to work effectively with students

• Program Dates:
  July 1, 2026 – August 11, 2026
• In District: 7:00 am - 8:30 am & 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
  • 6:45 am - 9:00 am & 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
  • 7:00 am - 8:30 am & 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
  • 7:15 am - 9:30 am & 1:15 pm - 4:00 pm
  • 7:15 am - 8:30 am, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm & 2:15 pm - 4:30 pm
  • 6:30 am - 9:30 am & 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm
  • 6:30 am - 8:45 am & 12:45 pm - 3:00 pm
  • 7:00 am - 8:30 am & 11:00 am - 12:45 pm
  • 6:45 am - 9:15 am & 1:45 pm - 3:45 pm
  • 7:15 am - 9:45 am & 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
