Location: New York

Albertus Magnus High School, a Dominican, Catholic, coeducational college preparatory school, seeks a faith-filled and dynamic Director of Campus Ministry to serve as a key member of the school's leadership team. Reporting directly to the Head of School, this role is responsible for fostering the spiritual life of the school community and advancing the mission and Dominican charism of the institution.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Design and coordinate grade-level retreat programs that support students' spiritual growth and faith development.
  • Develop and oversee student service opportunities, ensuring meaningful engagement aligned with Catholic social teaching.
  • Integrate and promote the Dominican charism throughout the life of the school.
  • Collaborate with local clergy and the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill to enrich the spiritual experiences of students and faculty.
  • Plan and coordinate monthly liturgies, prayer services, and sacramental celebrations throughout the academic year.
  • Work closely with the Theology Department to support curriculum alignment with campus ministry initiatives.
  • Provide pastoral presence and spiritual guidance to students, faculty, and families.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in theology, social work, education or a related field; advanced theological training preferred.
  • Practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to the mission of Catholic education.
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in campus ministry, youth ministry, or related field.
  • Deep understanding of and appreciation for the Dominican tradition.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and foster collaboration across the school community.
