Assistant Professor – Information Systems
The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York, is seeking a full‑time tenure‑track faculty position in Information Systems, open only at the Assistant Professor level, beginning in Fall 2027. Preference will be given to candidates with cybersecurity research and/or teaching experience.
Qualifications- Ph.D. in Information Systems or related field (or expected completion);
- Proven record of high‑quality research with publications in premier peer‑reviewed IS journals;
- Ability to teach courses including cybersecurity, information assurance, ethical hacking, systems analysis and design, programming, and other IS subjects;
- Teaching in multiple modalities (in‑person, online, hybrid);
- Experience teaching diverse students, including first‑generation college students.
Salary range $147,300–$162,300, commensurate with education and experience. CUNY offers a competitive benefits package covering health insurance, pension, paid parental leave, and savings programs, as well as mentoring and support for research and scholarship.
