• Design fun, impactful programs for adults — workshops, discussions, and more.
• Provide top-notch reference and readers’ advisory services.
• Introduce patrons to our Library of Things, Museum Passes, and digital resources
  .
• Help curate and grow a vibrant adult collection across all formats.
• Collaborate with a team that values innovation, creativity, inclusion, and community impact.

• A passionate librarian who loves helping people explore and learn
  .
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with library systems (Evergreen experience a plus!).
• Creative, collaborative, and adaptable — ready to bring new ideas to life
  .
• Culturally competent with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited or NYS-recognized program.
• Eligibility for a NYS Public Librarian Certificate (must have certificate at appointment).
• To be on the Westchester County Department of Human Services (Civil Service) list for Librarian I.
• The ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
