Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is one of the largest federally qualified health center networks in New York State. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Infant Teacher – Fulltime.

Under the supervision of the Education Director, the Infant Teacher will work within the framework of Sunset Park Health Council, DOE, DOHMH, NAEYC, and Quality Stars NY standards, policies, and procedures. The teacher promotes early childhood education for children and families in and out of the classroom by providing sound supervision, developmentally appropriate lessons, community outings, and ensuring the health and safety of all children.

The role includes developing positive parent relations, encouraging parental involvement, supporting the professional growth of classroom associates, conducting team meetings, attending staff meetings, seeking professional development opportunities, and documenting lessons, observations, assessments, and all required paperwork.
