What’s the Role

Hebrew Public seeks a Dean of Culture to serve as an integral educational leader supporting its academic program king closely with the network academic leadership team and with school-based staff, the Academic Dean will play a critical role in leading and supporting SIHP to achieve its academic vision by leading data-driven instructional coaching and professional development. The successful candidate will possess a track record of breakthrough student achievement results in their own classroom and will demonstrate a keen ability to coach others to similar outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of School, the Academic Dean will drive continual improvement of instruction at their school. The opportunity is ideal for a proven instructional leader who is passionate about strengthening Hebrew Public’s commitment to exceptional instruction and student achievement.

What You’ll Do Student Culture & Student Development
  • Cultivate a vibrant, inclusive, and mission-aligned school environment
  • Promote student belonging, leadership, and civic responsibility
  • Design and implement school wide culture systems
  • Integrate robust social-emotional learning (SEL) and character education
  • Create meaningful opportunities for student voice, empathy development, community engagement
MTSS, Behavior Systems & Accountability
  • Oversee a data-driven, multi-tiered system of behavioral support (PBIS/MTSS)
  • Manage equitable and progressive discipline protocols balancing accountability with student growth
  • Coordinate Tier 1–3 behavioral interventions
  • Lead and monitor attendance initiatives
  • Ensure regulatory compliance related to student conduct
  • Analyze and utilize behavior data to improve school wide outcomes
Staff Coaching & Family Engagement
  • Strengthen home-school partnerships
  • Empower instructional staff to support student success
  • Provide targeted coaching in classroom management and responsive classroom practices
