Job Description
- Facilitate an interactive and student-centered classroom environment
- Implement appropriate grade-level curricula at a high level
- Cultivate core values such as kindness, respect, compassion, and integrity within students
- Professionally communicate with parents and collaborate with colleagues
- BA (required) or Masters (preferred) degree in education
- Two or more years classroom teaching experience
- Mastery in content subject area
The Ideal candidate would demonstrate: an enthusiastic attitude, experience with and knowledge of curriculum standards and developmental stages of children in their grade level, experience with student-centered, innovative educational models, a commitment to ongoing pedagogical growth and learning, professionalism paired with a warm and caring personality, a strong ability to communicate respectfully and build effective relationships within the school community, a passionate and articulate educational vision, a love of learning, and a life imbued with core Jewish values, a sensitivity and openness to the diversity of Jewish practice in our school community and the diverse nature of our student and parent populations, strong organizational skills, ability to think creatively and strategically, maintain an open mind, and inspire the creative ideas of students.
SalarySalary: $50-75,000, commensurate with experience, education and training.
HoursHours:
Full-Time (8:30am-4:15pm), Part-Time (dependent on position).
