As a Graphic Design Teacher at ICs, you will play a crucial role in creating inclusive pathways to academic and social-emotional success for all types of learners in the classroom. You will work collaboratively with students, families, and colleagues to provide a supportive and enriching learning environment.

• Craft and deliver captivating lessons that engage and energize students across various subjects, enriching their educational journey
• Addressing the learning needs of all learners in your classroom
• Plan instruction that creates independent learning opportunities for students
• Present a passion for learning, growth mindset and a love for the subject matter you are teaching
• Deliver high quality content in the assigned content area integrating Social Emotional instructional practices
• Tailor teaching methods to meet the unique learning needs of every student, ensuring no one is left behind on their educational journey
• Lead by example, demonstrating your passion for learning and instilling it in our students, nurturing their growth and development
• Design and deliver a comprehensive Graphic Design and Digital Arts curriculum, including digital illustration, branding, visual communication, and multimedia design
• Develop and teach 3D design and fabrication units, including modeling, slicing, and production using 3D printers
• Provide students with hands‑on opportunities to engage in design thinking, prototyping, and iterative problem‑solving
• Integrate industry‑standard tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Tinkercad, Blender, Canva, or similar platforms) into daily instruction
• Plan and implement projects that connect art, technology, and real‑world applications (marketing, product design, architecture, etc.)
• Teach foundational and advanced skills in digital citizenship, AI use in design, and ethical creative practices
• Differentiate instruction to support a range of learners, including students new to digital tools and those ready for advanced design challenges
