Position Summary
Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University seeks dynamic individuals to teach undergraduate Marketing courses:
Marketing Capstone, Consumer Behavior, Social Media, and Principles of Marketing at Wilf or Beren campuses.
Strong candidates will have a doctoral degree (ABDs considered) in Marketing or a related discipline, at least 3 years of teaching experience, and an active research agenda or professional business experience.
Responsibilities- Teach up to two undergraduate courses in-person, up to twice a week, in one or more of the specified areas.
- Contribute through scholarly inquiry resulting in publications and service to the university.
- Doctoral degree from an AACSB-accredited institution with expertise in Marketing or the specified areas.
- Record of publications and/or an active research agenda.
- Professional corporate experience strongly encouraged.
- Non‑doctoral candidates are encouraged to apply if they are pursuing a doctoral degree in one of the above fields, or if they hold a master’s degree in one of the fields and have at least five years of professional industry experience.
- Prior college‑level teaching experience of at least 3 years; high teaching evaluation scores preferred.
- Record of publications and/or an active research agenda (optional).
- Cover letter addressing the qualifications.
- Recent student evaluations for in‑person instruction.
- One recommendation letter from a current or former supervisor.
