Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University seeks a dynamic individual to serve as a Clinical Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship in a non-tenure position. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Organizational Behavior, Negotiations, Leadership, and related topics. The candidate will also contribute service to the school and university community, with optional opportunities to engage in research and participate in research seminars.
Responsibilities- Teach three undergraduate courses in-person twice per week.
- Assume administrative responsibilities as assigned, including serving as Chair of the Department if appropriate.
- Conduct research and participate in school research seminars.
- Provide service to the school, university, and broader community through participation in institutional events and activities.
- Collaborate with the Department Chair to design undergraduate courses and conduct independent research.
- Doctoral degree from an AACSB‑accredited institution with expertise in Strategy, Management, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Behavioral Economics, Organizational Behavior, or related fields (preferred).
- Candidates without a doctoral degree may apply if they are currently pursuing a doctoral degree in one of the listed fields and possess a master’s degree in a related field with at least five years of professional industry experience.
- Alternatively, candidates may hold a master’s degree in a related field and have a minimum of two years of prior college‑level teaching experience with strong teaching evaluation scores.
- Demonstrated record of publications and/or an active research agenda.
- JD degree holders may also be considered.
- Strong connections with industry and public speaking experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to work within a research‑oriented academic community.
- Promotion of emerging technologies, including AI, in the classroom.
- Preference for candidates with a record of publications or an active research agenda.
$100,000 – $160,000
