What is Seton Teaching Fellows? Seton Teaching Fellows is a year‑long missionary teaching program that brings the Catholic Faith to children in underserved communities across America. The program is guided by the vision that "the world offers you comfort, but you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness" – Benedict XVI.

- Twice‑monthly stipends throughout the year, totaling $12,500 for the year
- Free housing, utilities, and relocation expenses

We accept applications on a rolling basis. Fellows will serve from July 2026 (including onboarding and training) through June 2027. A limited number of fellows will begin January 2026 and serve through June 2027.

- Fellows live in the neighborhood where our schools are located and serve during school hours, Monday‑Friday
- Fellows teach catechesis classes to students at all of our schools
- Fellows participate in rigorous instructional coaching and professional development sessions to grow as teachers
- Fellows bring intentional community, sacramental faith life, and formation to the neighborhoods we serve
- All majors and education levels—no background or degree in education required
- Students and graduates from around the nation—relocation, travel, housing, and training provided
- Students eligible for work in the U.S. or OPT—international students may be accommodated
- Students and graduates from various work experiences—no specific experience required; call to serve is essential
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Desire to teach the fullness of the Catholic faith
- Able to socially and professionally connect with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
- Growth mindset rooted in optimism and collaboration
- Willingness to live in a communal household, receive faith formation, and pray with others
- Ready to work and teach with Pre‑K through 8th‑grade students and receive relevant professional development
- At least two years of college experience
- Core belief that all children can achieve moral and academic excellence
