Dates: July 6, 2026 – August 21, 2026

Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week for 7 weeks

Compensation: $25 per hour, approximately $4,375 total for the full assignment

Alpha Drones USA, Inc. is building a drone pilot placement and workforce platform that connects qualified drone professionals with real commercial UAS opportunities across our growing fleet ecosystem. As both a drone fleet operator and a workforce partner, Alpha Drones supports client projects across agriculture, cleaning, advertising, inspections, and other commercial drone service areas, helping organizations access trained pilots, specialized equipment, and mission‑ready drone operations.

Alpha Drones USA is currently seeking a Facilitator, Training and Development to support our Summer Youth Internship Program at Aviation High School in New York. This seasonal role is designed for someone who enjoys working with students, can confidently manage a classroom environment, and is excited to represent Alpha Drones in a hands‑on youth workforce development program.

The facilitator will be physically onsite during all in‑classroom internship hours and will help ensure the program runs smoothly, students remain engaged, and the Alpha Drones curriculum is delivered as designed. This person will support interns as they complete project‑based research and development activities connected to the future of drone technology.

The first week of the assignment will include curriculum training with Alpha Drones leadership, including onsite training at Aviation High School.

Job Summary
  • Represent Alpha Drones USA onsite in the classroom during the Summer Youth Internship Program
  • Supervise student interns during all scheduled in‑classroom internship hours
  • Facilitate the Alpha Drones curriculum as designed by the Training and Development team
  • Support interns as they complete project‑based research and development activities related to drone technology, drone services, and the future of commercial UAS applications
  • Take daily attendance and help maintain accurate program participation records
  • Enforce Alpha Drones USA policies, classroom expectations, safety standards, and program guidelines
  • Help create a professional, respectful, engaging, and productive classroom environment
  • Provide day‑to‑day support to interns as they work through assignments, team projects, discussions, and program activities
  • Communicate student participation, behavior, attendance, and program needs to the Director, Training and Development
  • Help keep the program on schedule and ensure daily activities are completed according to the program plan
  • Support Alpha Drones leadership during the first week of curriculum training and program preparation
  • Serve as a positive role model and professional representative of Alpha Drones USA for students, school staff, and program partners
  • Escalate student, safety, attendance, conduct, or facility concerns promptly to Alpha Drones leadership
Job Requirements
  • Must hold a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Teaching, tutoring, youth program, summer camp, classroom facilitation, coaching, mentoring, or summer counseling experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with high school students, interns, or youth workforce development programs preferred
  • Comfortable supervising students in a classroom setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students in a positive, professional way
  • Ability to follow and facilitate an established curriculum as designed by Alpha Drones USA
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage attendance, daily structure, student participation, and classroom expectations
  • Friendly, dependable, patient, and able to maintain a calm presence in a classroom environment
  • Ability to enforce policies and expectations while still building positive relationships with students
