Located in Long Island City, NY, The After-School Collective and Snapology specialize in innovative STEM, robotics, engineering, and enrichment programs. Our mission is to help children develop confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills through hands‑on learning and play. As a LEGO-Based STEM Teacher, you’ll have the chance to lead exciting educational experiences that inspire curiosity and teamwork. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading hands‑on STEM, engineering, robotics, and LEGO-based learning activities.
• Facilitating coding and creative building projects that captivate young learners.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels welcome.
• Managing student behavior to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
• Inspiring children to think critically, solve problems, and work collaboratively.

We’re seeking candidates who are passionate about education and comfortable leading groups of children. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of experience working with children in educational, camp, after‑school, or enrichment settings.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to lead independently.
• A reliable, professional, and punctual work ethic.
• A background in education, STEM, engineering, robotics, camp counseling, or related fields (a plus, but not required).
• No prior LEGO or robotics experience is necessary—we provide comprehensive training on all curriculum and lesson plans!

• Starting Rate
  : $60 per hour.
• Flexible Scheduling

  Choose 1–4 hour shifts based on your availability and preferred locations.
