Speech and Debate Teacher

We are looking for a results‑driven Speech and Debate Teacher to join our expanding network of public charter schools.

• Build a classroom culture that nurtures a love for public speaking and debate.
• Collaborate with teachers across the network to develop a world‑class speech and debate program.
• Engage students with challenging, relevant material.
• Prepare scholars to compete in city, state, and national competitions.
• Participate in training with school leaders and receive targeted feedback to accelerate teaching growth.

• Bachelor’s degree (or obtaining before start date).
• Outstanding academic record.
• Proven record of excellence in collegiate debate or coaching at middle/high school level.
• Passion for speech and debate and lifelong learning.
• Goal‑oriented with the willingness to put in effort to achieve high standards.
• Strong presence and confidence in inspiring others.
• Experience collaborating across disciplines (e.g., athletics, band, orchestra).
• Leadership experience in a club, team, or organizational setting.
• Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
• Experience working with children.

Compensation: $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Success Academy offers a full benefits program and opportunities for professional growth.
