Earth Science Teacher - Part-Time

The Woodmere Middle School is seeking a qualified and dedicated

Earth and Space Sciences teacher for .3, part-time position for the 2026-27 school year. The position begins on August 26, 2026-June 30, 2027.. This role requiresNYS certification in Earth Science. The successful candidate will serve students at Woodmere Middle School.

• At Woodmere Middle School (.3 FTE):
• Provide instruction in
  
  Earth and Space Sciencesclassroom.
• Collaborate with special education teachers toplan and deliver differentiated instruction.
• Implement IEP goals aligned with NYS learning standards.
• Support students in accessing the curriculum through accommodations, modifications, and instructional strategies.
• Monitor and document student progress; participate in CSE meetings as needed.

• Required
  
  Certifications:
• New York State Certification in Earth Science

• Preferred Experience:
• Teaching experience in Earth and Science
• Knowledge of NYS Standards
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

This is a.3 part-time position and Woodmere Middle School

Compensation in accordance with Hewlett Woodmere Faculty Association contract.
