United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful and growing, exclusively special education private school in their search for experienced 6th-12th grade Special Education Teachers. This is an ABA based program that focuses on the individual needs of each student. Beautiful new facilities with a sensory gym on site and partnerships with activities in the community.

BACB supervision and LBA supervision are also available.

Positions beginning immediately or in the Fall.

6th-12th grade Special Education Math & Science, or History, Social Studies & English

Lower Manhattan, Fulton St area. Near many subway lines and the PATH train.

$70,000-$85,000 depending on experience. Excellent benefits package included.

Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm. This is a full-year, 12-month program.

• Creating academic plans and goals based on assessment data
• Supervising a 1:1 classroom and 2:1 instructors in the classroom
• Monitoring and analyzing each student’s progress related to communication, academics, behavior, and social skills
• Completing academic and behavior analytic assessments (ABBLS, VB-MAPP, reading assessments, curricula assessments)
• Working with service providers, home base providers, parents, and the multidisciplinary team

• Minimum of a MA in Special Education or a related field
• At least 2 years previous teaching experience in a special education setting
• NYS Teacher Certification for Students with Disabilities
• ABA experience is a huge plus, not a must
• Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBA) are a plus, not a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
