Full‑time, non‑exempt, 100% FTE (40 hrs/week). Hourly rate: $22.50.

Program Responsibilities- Delivery, Evaluation and Applied Research (5%) – Provide the educational program as defined in the grant application; implement family engagement events, activities and tasks; use established 4‑H Youth Development programming; deliver family engagement educational information via school media; ensure program delivery is within scope of the statewide and Association Plan of Work; serve as subject‑matter resource in 4‑H Youth Development, family engagement and provide standard responses;
provide ongoing family engagement activities; facilitate community workshops and activities that foster connections; utilize a variety of delivery methods, including phone calls, special events and written communication; assist in creating a welcoming environment for families; support existing parent organizations; maintain a presence in the school at designated times; represent on appropriate teams such as the PST team meetings. - Administrative Responsibilities – Direction and Management (15%) – Assist program staff with limited‑complexity administrative tasks in planning educational programs; provide input to the school in planning delivery structures; give input to program leaders; assist in proposing program budgets and allocating amounts; identify opportunities for fund development; ensure CCE’s mission is acknowledged and exemplified; monitor and report data with school administrators; provide low‑complex administrative management;
solve problems and resolve conflicts using appropriate policies; give guidance to volunteers and staff; identify and recommend program needs; develop and maintain professional relationships with school personnel, community agencies and businesses; provide management, including recruitment, selection, supervision and performance reviews for designated staff and volunteers; give regular staffing updates to the Executive Director. - Coordination/Operation (75%) – Coordinate, compile and organize existing program resources and materials; provide out‑of‑school time programming (4‑H before, after and summer) for 6th–9th grades; coordinate with and attend PST meetings weekly; coordinate services for students and families and make referrals to outside agencies; implement established program schedule; assist with program evaluation, collecting evaluation and needs assessment data; coordinate activities related to Community Schools Programming;
assist in allocating program budget amounts; prepare and submit expense reports; manage inventory of supplies; assist with marketing and brochure development; provide administrative support for fund development activities; utilize effective marketing strategies across print, news, social media and multimedia; contribute and communicate 4‑H news through articles and recognition; serve as a member of a leadership team with representatives of students, parents, community voices and the Community School Coordinator;
work with evaluators and the NYS Community Schools Technical Assistance Center to map program alignment; collaborate with school staff to ensure broad access to 4‑H before, after‑school and summer programming. - Professional Improvement & Other Duties as Assigned (5%) – Jointly develop and pursue a professional development plan; attend staff meetings; report expenses; work with other staff; general marketing of Extension programs; perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education; or Associate’s Degree and 2 years of transferable program/functional experience.
