Overview

The School of Health Sciences (SHS) is looking for Student Wellness Coordinators who report to and work closely with the Director of Student Mental Health Services. They also work with the Associate Dean of the School of Health Sciences (SHS). This position provides support to students directly and collaboratively. Support is both Responsive and Proactive in nature, including but not limited to, individual counseling, group work, and Wellness programs.

The coordinator uses interventions, referrals, and follow‑up services to provide a personalized response to each individual student.

Responsibilities
  • Responds to queries from Students and staff (faculty and administrative) in timely manner.
  • Provides short‑term counseling and other support and follows up with students and staff as needed.
  • Manages student cases with Faculty.
  • Creates and implements Wellness Programs to provide proactive support to students.
  • Assists partner offices in providing similar or related services.
  • Works with Faculty and staff on responding to and managing student wellness issues.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director.
Qualifications Education/Experience
  • Master's degree and clinical practice licensure (LMSW, CMCH, PsyD.) required
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Maximum Salary

USD $24.29/Hr.

Minimum Salary

USD $19.43/Hr.
