Location: New York
Substitute Teacher – Pre-K to 5th Grade
Riverdale Country School is recruiting energetic and motivated Substitute Teacher candidates to work with students from Pre‑Kindergarten to 5th grade. Candidates should enjoy working with children and have a minimum of an Associate’s degree. Substitute Teachers oversee students’ learning in core subject areas and/or special areas throughout the school day and are responsible for the health and safety of our students.
Responsibilities- Supervise and facilitate student learning in core subject areas and/or special subject areas throughout the school day.
- Ensure students’ health and safety during the school day.
- Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment.
- Energetic and motivated with a passion for teaching young learners.
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree.
- Experience working with children preferred.
