Adjunct College Laboratory Technician - Biological Sciences GENERAL DUTIES

• Performs highly-skilled laboratory functions and other technical duties in support of coursework.
• Sets up, maintains, and organizes student laboratories.
• Assists students with setting up experiments and other learning exercises, and with the use of equipment and materials.
• Maintains appropriate safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintains required documentation related to laboratory activities.
• Manages equipment and materials inventories.

• The Adjunct College Laboratory Technician (CLT) will report directly to the Department's Full-Time College Laboratory Technician (CLTs).
• Duties include:
• Helping prepare and set up laboratories for instructors.
• Cleaning of glassware and other items as needed.
• Receiving and properly storing deliveries.
• Helping full‑time CLTs with inventory.
• Evening/Weekend hours will be required.
• Adjunct CLTs are allowed a maximum of 225 hours per semester.

• High School Diploma with a minimum of four years related experience.
• Associate degree may be substituted for two years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four years of experience.

$34.20 - $49.41 per hour; salary commensurate with education and experience.
