The Goddard School is seeking assistant teachers in our Toddler (1 and 2-year-old) program at our Stuy Town location.
As an Employee, you will receive the following Benefits- Twenty-Seven (27) paid personal days (Yes 27!!!) per year as follows:
- Ten (10) paid personal days per calendar year
- Five (5) paid personal days between Christmas and New Year's Day when the school is closed
- Seven (7) paid holidays per calendar year.
- Five (5) sick days per year (available to all employees, accrual starts with no waiting period)
- Up to 100% tuition reimbursement subject to performance and commitment to work for a specified period.
- Employer will offer and pay for health insurance cost including dental and vision insurance making insurance extremely affordable to employees.
- Employer will match up to 3% of your contributions to the 401K plan (Employer will deposit extra money into your 401K for your retirement!!!)
- Employees will be eligible for annual performance based pay increases
An assistant teacher must have a high school diploma or equivalent. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Teacher Responsibilities- Working alongside the classroom teachers to implement planned activities
- Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
- Supporting each child's social and emotional development
- Establishing positive and effective family relations and communication
- Maintaining routine and structure in the classroom
