• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or child development
• A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and at least one year experience in a licensed early childhood center
• Ability to lift objects of up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell
• Ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch

• Demonstrate a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.)
• Encourage children to interact and resolve occasional conflict
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts, etc.)
• Organize nap and lunch/snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe
• Track children’s progress
• Communicate with parents regularly
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
