Position Overview:

- Develop and implement engaging and innovative music lesson plans that align with NYS standards and District curriculum, considering the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students.
- Responsible for teaching group lessons to Middle School students that include Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion instruments.
- Create a welcoming classroom environment where every student feels respected and supported.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students, including those with varying learning styles and backgrounds.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success and well‑being.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching skills.
Candidates must possess NYSED certification in Music.
CompensationSalary Range: $20,840.00 - $46,483.60 (Master's Steps 1-22); $18,828.80 - $39,734.80 (Bachelor's Steps 1-22)
