Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth in children.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and well-being.
- Ensure the health, safety, and cleanliness of the classroom and play areas.
- Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among children.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s attendance, progress, and development.
Qualifications
- Have earned or be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field OR have CDA Credentials (Required for Head Teacher Positions Only)
- Previous experience as a teacher in a daycare or preschool setting (Required for Head Teacher Position Only).
- CPR and First Aid certification (Not Required but Preferred).
- Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
