Location: New York
The New York Foundling is seeking a dedicated tutor to support students in the foster care system. This role involves providing academic mentorship, advocating for resources, and preparing culturally competent tutoring sessions. The ideal candidate will work with a caseload of 18 youth, ensuring they meet academic goals through individualized support and regular communication.
Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, ideally be bilingual in English and Spanish, and have experience working with younger students. The position requires travel across various boroughs for in-person sessions.
