Job Description:
The Office of Residence Life at SUNY Delhi invites candidates to apply for a Residence Hall Director vacancy.
The Office of Residence Life supports the mission of the College by providing a living and learning environment that is conducive to academic achievement and optimal personal growth. We seek to develop a sense of belonging and respect within our residential community by helping our students to acquire knowledge and skills, make informed choices, develop critical thinking skills, make ethical choices, and assume self-responsibility.

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
* Occupancy management
* Facilities management
* Performance of administrative duties
* Student staff supervision
* Enforcing and adjudicating violations the student code of conduct
* On duty responsibilities and other work related commitments during nights and weekend
* Student development
* Developing interpersonal working relationships with students
* Community building and promoting diversity within the residence halls and campus community
* Coordination and/or development of living learning communities
* Assist in planning and teaching the "Fundamentals of the Resident Assistant" class
* Assist in a mutually agreed upon functional area on campus to work five hours per week in
* Serving on departmental and campus wide committees
Opportunities exist to work with living learning communities associated with first year experience, veterinary science majors, nursing majors, and LGBTQ+Ally.
This is a full-time, live-in position.

* Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and experience working in student affairs or student leadership
Preferred qualification:

Days, evenings and weekends as assigned
* Obligation: 10.5 month obligation (College Year)
* This is a full-time, live-in position.
* Salary: $43,995
* Additional Compensation: $1500 declining balance meal plan each semester with $250 annual increases with a $2500 cap, furnished apartment for the duration of the appointment, pet permitted with prior approval, free parking pass, and free gym access.
