St. John’s University is looking for 3 Mentors/Teachers for its Upward Bound summer program, running July 7 to August 6. The role includes teaching classes, tutoring, and advising students on academic and career goals. Candidates should have a relevant master's or bachelor's degree and experience with high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Hours are Monday to Thursday from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with some Saturdays as needed. This dynamic program offers an hourly pay of $54.
