• Pre-Designed Curriculum: We provide a structured and proven ELA Lab curriculum based on the Lindamood-Bell methodology to help struggling readers build foundational language skills.

• Training and Support: Our comprehensive training ensures you're prepared to deliver instruction confidently and effectively, especially if you're new to intervention models.

• Focus on Teaching: With administrative tasks and planning handled, your focus stays where it belongs—on student growth and connection.

• Meaningful Engagement: Our ELA Lab classes are small-group, targeted sessions that replace a student’s traditional English class, offering them a focused, supportive environment to catch up and thrive.

We're seeking passionate educators to lead ELA Lab classes for high school students during the upcoming Academic Year (2026–2027). These small-group, intervention-based classes are designed for students who are behind in reading and writing. Ideal candidates have experience in literacy instruction, are familiar with structured reading programs, and preferably have training in or are open to learning the Lindamood-Bell methodology. You'll help students strengthen decoding, comprehension, and writing skills in a focused, nurturing environment.

This role will be in‑person at one of our partner schools in Brooklyn, NY. Most of our partners are Jewish, single‑gender schools.

Monday - Thursday: 1:05 PM - 4:50 PM

• Charismatic, positive personality

• Strong interest in literacy education and helping students grow

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

• Experience in reading intervention or ELA instruction (preferred)

• Familiarity with Lindamood-Bell programs or willingness to train

• 1–2 years of teaching experience

$50–$60/hr
