Job Summary
Mercy University invites nominations and applications for 9‑month faculty positions in the nursing program. This is an opportunity to join an engaged team of professional and dedicated colleagues in a CCNE‑accredited program that offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. We welcome dynamic educators to our team who want to make a difference in students’ lives and in their profession. For the undergraduate program the positions include teaching a variety of nursing courses, with particular needs in medical‑surgical, health assessment, and fundamentals.
Undergraduate programs are on the Dobbs Ferry and Bronx campuses. Responsibilities include teaching with an emphasis on high‑impact teaching practices and active learning.

Required Skills & Experience- At least 3 years’ experience in an academic setting preferred
- Unencumbered NYS License
- Experience teaching in an online format
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Education MS in Nursing (required). DNP, PhD, or EdD preferred
- Must be able to perform tasks that may involve pushing, pulling, moving, or lifting up to 50 lbs., with reasonable accommodations as needed
- Must meet all role‑specific general health and safety requirements in accordance with university policies and guidelines upon hire with reasonable accommodations provided as needed
