Job Description:

The Chemistry and Physics Department at SUNY Old Westbury regularly seeks to hire Adjunct Instructors who will effectively teach undergraduate lectures and laboratories including:

* General Chemistry

* Organic Chemistry

* Physics

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

* All But Dissertation (ABD) candidates with an expected date of Ph.D. completion within one year will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Ph.D. in the related fields.

* Experience teaching at the college level.

* Experience in research.

* Experience teaching and mentoring a culturally diverse undergraduate student population.
