The Department of Chemistry at the Queens campus of St. John's University, located in New York City, invites applicants for adjunct instructor positions in foundational first- and second-year chemistry courses.

• Teach lecture, laboratory, and recitation sections of general chemistry and organic chemistry to undergraduate students.
• Plan syllabus and assignments in alignment with course objectives.
• Provide academic support and assessment.
• Demonstrate commitment to excellence in undergraduate chemistry teaching.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion in pedagogy.

• M.S. in chemistry or a closely related field, or currently pursuing an advanced degree.
• Ability to teach foundational undergraduate chemistry courses.
• Demonstrated teaching experience or promise in chemistry is strongly encouraged.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
