Career Preparation Program (CPP) Instructor
Are you passionate about helping youth and young adults reach their full potential? Glenmont Job Corps is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Career Preparation Program (CPP) Instructor to join our team!
As a CPP Instructor, you will play a vital role in helping students develop career goals, build confidence, and successfully transition into training and career pathways. Through instruction, mentorship, and individualized support, you'll help students create a strong foundation for lifelong success. Valid In-State Driver's License Required
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM

Provide engaging instruction and training during the Career Preparation Program.
Help students develop individualized achievement plans and career goals.
Monitor and evaluate student progress to promote retention and success.
Serve as a mentor, coach, and positive role model.
Conduct effective classroom instruction and assess student performance.
Supervise and support students while fostering a safe and positive learning environment.
Coordinate pre-arrival activities, including:
- Pre-arrival phone calls
- Transportation arrangements
- CPP Welcome Celebrations
- Student needs assessments
- Center tours
- Staff introductions
Maintain accurate student records and uphold all integrity guidelines.
Support center goals and help ensure program success.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Valid In-State Driver's License
Passion for working with youth and young adults
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Ability to motivate, inspire, and support students from diverse backgrounds
Commitment to student achievement and personal growth

What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
- A degree from an accredited school preferred.
- Previous group facilitation, teaching or Job Corps experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid in-state Driver's License and meet the Company insurability requirements.
