Elementary Teacher (AIS) Shatekon Elementary School 1.0 FTE Probationary Position

Shenendehowa Central School District is seeking a culturally proficient elementary teacher for an anticipated probationary position beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. The District is seeking culturally proficient individuals who actively foster an engaging environment where students can develop confidence in their own success, consistent with the Shenendehowa Profiles.

Position Overview The successful candidates will provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction for elementary students; support academic, social, and emotional growth; collaborate with colleagues and families; and contribute to a positive school community.

Compensation & Benefits

Step 1 - $56,758/yr (min) STA Collective Bargaining Agreement

Required Certifications/Qualifications

• Valid New York State Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)
• Strong knowledge of early childhood/elementary instructional practices.
• Ability to create an inclusive, student-centered classroom environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and family engagement skills.
