Department of Economics and Finance within the Tobin College of Business n’s University. The department has 8 full-time faculty members and uses adjuncts to cover courses. Offers B.S. and B.A. in Economics for undergrad and graduate students.
ResponsibilitiesAdjunct teaching of Macro and Micro Principles, and possibly Economics of Poverty and Inequality. Primarily daytime courses on Mondays & Thursdays or Tuesdays & Fridays for Fall 2026 semester and beyond at Queens campus (8000 Utopia Parkway).
QualificationsMaster’s degree and prior teaching experience preferred. Strong industry experience strongly recommended.

- Adjunct Professor: $7,000 to $7,750
- Adjunct Associate Professor: $6,300 to $7,300
- Adjunct Assistant Professor: $5,500 to $6,500
- Adjunct Instructor: $5,000 to $5,750
Per course salary range $5,000 to $7,750 in compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act. Factors considered include scope, experience, education, skills, equity.
