Adjunct, Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.
Responsibilities- Teach a minimum of one undergraduate‑level course
- Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts
- Be prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student data
- Support students’ learning goals by:
- Focusing on student learning outcomes
- Taking into account the needs and abilities of the students
- Becoming familiar with academic and social support
- Making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences
- Maintaining the academic integrity of the college
- Making himself/herself available to assist students in achieving their learning goals
- Doctoral degree preferred (or an equivalent of highest attainable degree)
- Previous collegiate teaching experience
