Elementary Teacher Positions

Concord Road Elementary School is seeking innovative and student-centered Elementary Teachers (Grades Kindergarten and 1st) for anticipated positions for the  school year. The Elementary School Teacher will provide high-quality, engaging instruction to a diverse group of learners, fostering a safe and supportive classroom environment. The teacher will design and deliver lessons aligned to the New York State Learning Standards, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based literacy practices grounded in the science of reading.

This role requires a commitment to meeting the needs of all students through differentiated instruction, collaboration with colleagues, and ongoing professional growth.

Create and maintain a classroom environment that is safe, respectful, inclusive, and conducive to learning.

Plan, deliver, and assess standards-based lessons using evidence-based practices and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students.

Use data to inform instruction, monitor progress, and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.

Collaborate regularly with grade-level colleagues, support staff, and families to enhance student learning.

Engage in ongoing professional development to strengthen instructional practices and remain current in evidence based methods.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Commitment to supporting equity, inclusion, and the academic success of all learners.

CERTIFICATION: NYS Childhood Education Grades K-2 and/or 1-6.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a probationary 10-month position.

EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation of certified staff.
