Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club has been a vital part of the community for over 70 years and serves 150-200 children a day with programs that provide opportunities to develop skills for a successful transition from childhood through adolescence and into adulthood. Programs are designed to channel youthful energy and curiosity into constructive activities that address today's most pressing youth issues.
Core areas cover Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, Character & Leadership Development, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Coordinator for our school members in grades 6-8, commonly known as Tweens! The Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and guiding our youth development assistants, assisting with homework, organizing fun recreational activities, and implementing programming from the Boys & Girls Club of America.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care is our top priority, and building positive relationships with both families and youth is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children, preferably in a camp or sports coaching setting. Experience in teaching middle school (grades 6-8) or a related field would be a valuable asset for this role. If you are energetic and inspiring, we'd love to hear from you.
