Job OverviewInstructional Designer within L&D creates, modifies, and enhances a diverse selection of curriculum for the purpose of training various individuals and groups within the Customer Care organization. Instructional Designers develop and present Train-the-Trainer programs to introduce and prepare Facilitators to present the developed training program. This role is responsible for communicating with appropriate departments within Customer Care regarding project material, subject matter and deadlines, then designing curriculum to fit the needs of the customer (department requesting training).
Job Responsibilities- Design and develop Learner Guide, Facilitator Guide, Handouts, Job Aids, Level 2&3 Evaluation Tools for designed programs as well as Train-the-Trainer programs. Conduct needs assessments as required and determine instructional objectives. Determine appropriate instructional strategy and delivery media (including traditional and non-traditional methods of delivery).
- Conduct and review Level 1&2 Assessments of Customer Care training initiatives as available. Ensure that Continuing Education materials are incorporated into New Hire curriculum if applicable.
- Support Facilitators during the implementation phase of the training (special issues and/or questions, Parking Lot issues, etc.).
- Create criterion-referenced test questions and assessment instruments. Conduct focus groups and feedback sessions to promote the development of effective training curriculum.
- Complete and submit weekly project status updates to National Curriculum Team Manager.

- Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required).
- 2-4 years – Instructional Design experience.

Base Pay Range: $60,500 - $109,200
Corporate Bonus Target: 10%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
