Responsibilities
The Psychology and Counseling Department at New York Institute of Technology’s Manhattan campus anticipates an opening for a part-time (Adjunct) Instructor for the Spring 2027 semester.
We expect that the new adjunct faculty hire will be assigned to teach Psychology and /or Sociology in-person courses.
QualificationsA doctoral degree in psychology and prior experience in teaching college level psychology classes is required.
Candidates should have prior experience using an LMS (such as Blackboard or Canvas) for course delivery.
All adjuncts will be expected to participate in orientation, as needed, before the start of the semester.

Adjunct Faculty offered hourly rate is contingent on applicable rank.
Minimum SalaryUSD $99.00/Hr.
Maximum SalaryUSD $108.00/Hr.
