We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Counselor to implement a comprehensive school counseling program that supports student success. The ideal candidate will address the academic, career, and social‑emotional developmental needs of all students, serving as a vital member of the school's educational team and a consultant to educators and families.

• Have a strong understanding of best practices for teaching, learning and assessment
• Use developmentally appropriate strategies to promote student engagement with the content
• Create a positive learning environment
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Build positive relationships with colleagues
• Promote family engagement whenever possible

• Candidates must possess a NYS School Counselor Certification.
• Per current MMTA contract; level of education and experience will be considered.
• This position reports to the Building Principal.
