FTE Special Education Teacher - District-Wide

Job Title

Salary Dependent upon Experience, Academic Preparation and the ATA Contract

Must possess valid NYS Certification in Special Education Birth-21 Years, or Special Education Grades K-12, or Special Education Birth-Grade 2 and Grades 1-6, or actively working toward such certification(s);

Additional NYS Certification in Math, English, Social Studies or Science, preferred;

Must have a solid background in differentiation and knowledge of NYS Common Core Learning Standards and NYS Alternate Assessment Frameworks;

Ability to differentiate instruction and implement inclusive teaching practices.

Knowledge of IDEA regulations, IEP development, and compliance requirements.

Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
