The Museum Studies program seeks instructors to teach courses for the Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027 semesters.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- Adjunct Lecturer:
Must possess a baccalaureate degree and such other qualifications as may be necessary for the satisfactory performance of his/her instructional functions. - Adjunct Assistant Professor:
Must have obtained the Ph.D. degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited university. Demonstrated satisfactory qualities of personality and character, evidence of significant success as a teacher, interest in productive scholarship or creative achievement, and willingness to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
- For Adjunct Lecturer, a master’s degree is preferred.
- Adjunct Lecturer: $112.50/hr
- Adjunct Assistant Professor: $120.83/hr
Rates for eligible employees will be adjusted by 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC‑CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
