Long Island University's Brooklyn Campus seeks Adjunct Instructors in the Natural and Life Sciences to teach undergraduate courses in disciplines such as biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and Health Science related fields. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject matter expertise, a commitment to student-centered teaching, and the ability to foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment aligned with the University's academic mission.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver lectures and/or laboratory instruction
- Develop course materials and assessments
- Evaluate student performance
- Maintain regular communication with students and department faculty
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Record of effective teaching or professional experience in the sciences
