Adjunct
- Digital Media & Animation

The Digital Media & Animation Department seeks skilled and passionate adjunct instructors to deliver both studio and lecture courses across our three innovative programs. This includes Digital Media & Animation, Graphic & Media Design, and Game & Interactive Design.

Teaching Opportunities Courses may cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • Digital Media Foundations
  • 2D & 3D Animation
  • Drawing & Graphic Design
  • Game Design & Interactive Media
  • Professional Practices for Creative Careers

This role offers a balanced opportunity to contribute to both practical studio environments and rigorous, theory-based lecture sessions.

This position is an on-campus face to face position.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, with commensurate experience, in any of the following - art, design, animation, game, production, or related field.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. If you currently need sponsorship or will need it in the future to maintain employment authorization, you do not meet eligibility requirements. Additionally, please note that Alfred State College is not an E-Verify employer.

The compensation for this position is $1,836 (lecture) and $1,377 (lab). Employees are also offered EXCEPTIONAL BENEFITS!
